In 2015, Burton HC raised the funds to lay our own hockey pitch located at the Shobnall Leisure Complex. We are to the far left hand side of the complex at our very own "Ellis Astro" and have car parking and changing room facilities right next to us inside the center.

Entering Burton-upon-Trent from the South via A38

Leave the A38 at Branston junction, sign posted Burton-upon-Trent and get into right hand lane as you drive up the slip road. Take the third exit and follow the road straight through the traffic lights. At the next roundabout you will see The Corner House pub on your left and McDonalds on your right. Take the second exit off this roundabout. Continue along this road for approximately ½ mile, going straight over three roundabouts. At the next roundabout, take the first exit, an effective left turn into Shobnall Road. Stay on this road for approximately ½ mile. Turn right into Shobnall Leisure Complex, opposite the entrance to Marstons brewery.

Entering Burton-upon-Trent from the North via A38

Continue on the A38, past the Burton-upon-Trent North exit at Stretton. Leave the A38 at Branston junction, sign posted Burton-upon-Trent and get into left hand lane as you drive up the slip road. Entering Burton-upon-Trent from the North West via A5111

Entering the outskirts of Burton-upon-Trent from Tutbury via the A5111, you will pass the Beacon pub on your left hand side. After approximately a further ½ mile turn right into Calais Road. Stay on this road until coming to a roundabout. Turn left at the roundabout into Belvedere Road. After passing under the A38 flyover and over the canal bridge, turn immediately right into Shobnall Street. Stay on this road for approx. 1 mile. At the T-Junction, turn right into Shobnall Road. After approximately 300yds, turn right into Shobnall Leisure Complex, opposite the entrance to Marstons brewery.

Entering Burton-upon-Trent from the South east via A444

Stay on the A444 to the outskirts of Burton-upon-Trent. At Stapenhill, go straight over the roundabout, following the signs for Burton, Town Centre (St Peters Church on the right hand side of this roundabout). Go over St.Peters Bridge and past Tesco Supermarket on your left hand side. Go straight over the roundabout and immediately move into the left hand lane. At the next roundabout, take the first exit and continue on this road, going straight over the set of traffic lights. Go straight over the next roundabout and then over the railway line bridge. Go straight over the next roundabout. At the next roundabout take the third exit into Shobnall Road. Stay on this road for approximately 500yds. Turn right into Shobnall Leisure Complex, opposite the entrance to Marstons brewery.
