Hello  Vice -Presidents , Patrons>and all Club Members............
 
As the cold snap has finally relented the fixtures have backed up for all at the red and green. This coming weekend the Mens 1st
X1 can take a massive step towards Midlands Premier survival as they entertain Coventry & North Warwicks and Telford (Shifnal)
in a double header weekend.

Both games are at Shobnall with Saturday's game  v Coventry and N. W. starting at 1pm and Sunday's  v  Telford at 11.30am.

The mini break has served the squad well as they maintained training with some good indoor sessions and the injured few have reported back fully fit.
 
Confidence is still sky high amongst the lads and following the richly deserved point away at Stourport there is a real belief the great escape can be achieved.

All support will be very welcome this weekend. Let's get Fortress Shobnall lively for our visitors. www.burtonhockeyclub.org.uk

The 6th's v 7 th's on the the Repton School Astro facility;  a hard fought friendly with Graham Lamb, Ian Harrison , Andy Bendall and the ageless Neil Bradfield creating a formidable defensive ring for the  7's  ! Note Ian Harrison's fine position on the goal line, in defence of Duncan Austin's  short Corner Strike.... perhaps on one leg ( Duncan that is ) !! A great occaision between the two top Teams of their Midlands East League.. A wonderful mix of youth and experience..! A 10.30 start meant that 'Teas' became Chip Butties and Ale in the Red Lion Repton (Dora's to old Campaigners ) well done Boss and Julie..
